The retail collectors shop (Planet Records) was opened in 1982 and still operates 6 days per week from New Market St. With around 20 000 LPs and 7" singles amongst an ever changing stock, its well worth a visit for collectors. A strong Jazz/Blues/Americana/Country/Rock/Prog & Folk section has always dominated the browsers, but just about all genres are covered with the exception of Dance music, of which we have no understanding or interest. The shop is predominantly second hand although we do have approx 2000 new Jazz/Folk/Blues/Country CDs. You can buy sell or trade your unwanted items with in store facilities to listen to items of interest. A strong accurate grading system has always been of paramount importance. Our quality control is second to none. We do not accept or retail poor quality graded vinyl or CDs.

Tickets for all major touring Artists can be booked inside on the spot. All concert tickets include travel to & from the venues. Tickets for Pendle Hawk promoted shows can also be bought over the counter. The shop is located 30 metres from the town hall clock with free parking outside the front door. Heres a nice Idea!!! Several of our regular out of town customers combine a trip to the shop with a visit to the famous Boundry Mill Stores (Colne). Why not try it?
